Most of you know my annoyance with people rubbing my belly. There are a few people who are allowed to rub my belly but strangers and people I rarely see...um no. But lately I have developed a new annoyance with people-strangers mostly. This has been going on for a month or so and the superbabies are to blame for this too as I have just realized. Everytime I go to the grocery store or just about anywhere I hear this "do you know what you are havin? " or "ooo you look like you gonna pop" and "how much longer you got?". Now these are strangers....people I will never see again. People who don't know me from Eve but feel the need to question my "growing condition". Now I have wanted to answer these questions with the following answers : "Do you know what you are having? Why yes I do....monkies". "How much longer you got? Oh about 4 more months and I am having quads." You see the twin factor shocks them enough and sparks more questions so I am thinking if I answer with the later it might shut them up and they will leave me alone. (However, I usually have the girls with me and am trying to teach them not to lie so I can't win here.) But lately, oh lately I have gotten very ill with people staring at my belly and looking at me like I have sprouted a second head so I have come up with a plan. I told Mike this last week as just a warning, if anyone saw me out in public he would have a heads up. If people want to stare, I am gonna give them something to stare at. That is where the tube top comes in. Now ya'll know me and know that I am not a tube top wearer but I am really, really about to reach my breaking point. I have decided that my outings will be limited after the little boy tried to look under my shirt at the rodeo last weekend. So should you see me out in public wearing a shiny gold sequined tube top....it is ok to act like you don't know me. I would act like that too. And you never know, while at this point it is just a plan of mine that makes me feel better-if it keeps up , you might see more of me than you really want to see...so look the other way.
*and how the boys are to blame for this....I have noticed when out in public and someone is talking to me, the boys separate and make me appear much, much larger than I am. So they are already embarrassing their mother.
