I am fine...
Really, I am. I do appreciate the concern though and am very thankful for all of my friends and the fact that my husband is checking up on me, but I really am fine. Slightly sad-yes but more Frusterated than anything. In fact, I think I may have worked myself up into the biggest tizzy yet...maybe more on that later because I don't really want to talk about that yet. Anyway, they took the feeding tubes out of the boys last night and are weaning them off their incubators or whatever they are called. They look so good without a wire hanging from their nose. I stuck around today to feed Easton and it didn't go so well. He had worked himself up and fell asleep about halfway thru the bottle. Well they are timed on their bottles and have to eat within 30 mins. We were pushing it so I finally just gave him to the nurse because he was sound asleep and I knew he needed to eat. It really made me feel bad and awkward at the same time because I know how to feed a baby but he was not cooperating. It didn't help that I felt like I was being watched the whole time. Seriously-I can handle this. I fed two really three babies just fine in the last 5 yrs and they have turned out fat and happy just stop watching me and let me do it. They are both eating at the same time now and when we go back tomorrow I hope we both get to feed them. They were doing rounds when I left and I should have stuck around to see what they had to say but I had to go so I could get the girls from Mike. Both boys had gained weight and Lucas should be birth weight tomorrow if he stays on schedule. Easton still has a little way to go but he is getting there. I think he knows when I am there because he wakes up. Lucas sleeps a lot. He better not get used to it because this is not the house for a quiet nap. The crib may help him get used to noises. Easton does not like to be disturbed with another baby crying. He makes a terrible face. I am very excited about this weekend. We are taking the girls on an outing to somewhere we have been before but they loved. They don't know about it yet, at least I don't think they do unless Mike told them today. Hopefully not because I like surprising them. Anyway, thank you for your concerns and worry and prayers. Please pray for me tomorrow because I have to go to the doctor-part of the big tizzy I have put myself in. L
