I am sitting here waiting on AA to wake up. (Actually, really hoping she gets a nap out and all of the elephants that run thru the house are entertained.) This is my last week of keeping this sweet baby and I am not so sure I am going to handle it well Wednesday. I mean it is not like I am never going to see her again but I have really enjoyed being entrusted with her these last few months, watching her grow, telling her to not grow so fast, watching her trying to keep up with the girls and seeing her smiling face when she wakes up. My kids were sweet when they woke up, never cranky, but neither of them had a smile as big as hers when she wakes up from a nap. It doesn't matter if she sleeps 2 minutes or 2 hours...she wakes up and smiles at you with this huge smile. I also can't believe how fast time has gone by. It seems like she was born yesterday (and I just found out I was pregnant with the superbabies). I am also not sure how the girls, especially Aiden, are going to handle these next few weeks of being without a baby. Surprisingly she has really taken to her but I will admit I was worried there at first because there was a bit of jealousy between the two. Evan took on the role of baby entertainer from day one and their bond was instant but Aiden not so much. Now she wakes up asking when she is coming or if she is coming and really plays with her when she is not in the cartoon zone.
I would put a picture of AA on here but I have rules you know. One of which no photos of kiddos and the other is no photos of other people's kiddos. Me and my rules-I always have been bossy.
Anyway, this is my public thank you to AA's parents: Thank you for letting me keep your baby these past months. We have enjoyed her and love her like she is one of ours. And anytime she needs entertainment-bring her on over. Because with 4 kids there will be plenty and really what's one more?!
